Step deeper into my garden
The roots, the weeds, the blooms, and the girl tending them!
It all starts within
I've always been the girl who stops to smell the roses. So when I started tending to my own inner world, of course it became a garden.
We all have one. Our roots are our foundations and beliefs. What we feed ourselves, the words we take in and the way we talk to ourselves, shows up in how we live. There are weeds planted long ago by other people's voices, and there's magic too: butterflies, fairy lights, color after the rain.
That's the truth of it: there's no finished garden. There are seasons. There are sunshine days and heavy ones. What matters is that we keep coming back.
Somewhere along the way, many of us lose ourselves. We pour into everyone else, go small to keep the peace, and forget what makes us light up from the inside.
That's why this space is about returning. We're always becoming, but there's a core in each of us worth coming home to: the part that knows a hell yes from a hell no.
This is your invitation to return to your roots, fill your own cup, and remember the power that's been rooted within you all along.
Hiii, I'm Lily
Every garden has a season when something new takes root. Mine was my 21st birthday.
Born and raised in Chicago, I was a city girl through and through, living my own little Carrie Bradshaw era. I biked everywhere, spent evenings at the beach, shopped like I had a walk-in closet (I did not), and found new corners of the city to explore. Wellness wasn't part of my world.
Then I went to my first retreat. From the moment I walked through the gates, the weight of the world fell off my shoulders. I didn't just find a place I loved. I found my calling. A few retreats later, I was welcomed onto the team at Retreat Ranch, and I packed up and replanted myself in Austin.
That's also where yoga found me. For me, it's not about the workout (though I love a dance sculpt class too). It's about being present. Some days I show up on my mat not wanting to move, and then my body softens, opens up, and starts asking for more. That's when I knew yoga was mine.
Today I help retreats bloom near and far, I'm completing my yoga teacher training, and I host free outdoor classes where everybody belongs.
I'm still tending my own garden, and I'd love to help you tend yours!
How I tend my garden
Tending looks different every day. Some days it's big and brave, and some days it's just clean laundry. Here's what it looks like for me:
